In 2006, three craftsmen from Eastern Europe started a glass company in New York. NY Glass grew from those three founders into a full architectural glass service: stair and balcony railings, frameless showers, storefronts, mirrors and glass rooms across the five boroughs. Glass Studios brings that team’s way of working to South Florida.

What New York taught us
In New York, walls are rarely straight and buildings are rarely empty. That taught us to measure every opening instead of trusting the drawing, to protect finished floors and stone while we work, and to coordinate around the other trades on site.
03
Why South Florida
Our team has completed projects in Florida before. Glass Studios makes the region a focus of its own — our own crew here, and one point of contact for your project, rather than work run from a distance.

What is different here
Salt air, sun and wind change the specification. Near the ocean we look at type 316 stainless hardware, which resists salt far better than 304. On long runs, low-iron glass keeps the edge from turning green. And in Broward and Miami-Dade, which fall in Florida’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, exterior glass is reviewed against those requirements for your address.

Our work
The projects marked “Glass Studios project” in Our Work are installations our team completed. Florida projects will appear there as they are finished.
A written scope before you commit, listing the glass, the hardware, the installation and what is excluded. Measurement at the right stage of the build. And one point of contact from the first photograph to the final walkthrough.
